Religious Racism is of the Devil

Zionists, in general, profess to be Jews who can prove they are the “seed of Abraham.” Of course, many of them do not believe in God–any God at all–let alone the God Abraham loved and obeyed. But they have some kind of proof that they are related in the flesh to the historic Hebrew family, and so they are granted special status in the modern state of Israel–a state called by many the “Jewish State.” Imagine trying to call your home-state “a Hispanic state” or “a German state,” and all the evils that could come from just taking on such a title, and you will begin to see the problem with creating a “Jewish state.” It really is not surprising that hateful chants of “Death to Arabs” and “Death to the leftists” (those Jews who support tolerance for Arabs) are heard in that state.

Add to this, two other groups who also claim to be today’s “chosen people”–theBlack Hebrew Israelites and the British (Anglo) Israelites. The former group is for darker skinned people, and the latter includes Caucasians of western European descent. Each group claims to be the “real Israelites” descended from historic Israel. These groups contain smaller groups which do not all hold to the same teachings, but the underlying theme is, generally, “My race is superior to your race.” Many are anti-Semitic, and as can be expected, the black and white groups hate one another as much as they hate the Jews.

So we have Jews, Whites and Blacks all claiming to be descended from Abraham, and the REAL favored nation on the earth. All have their doctrines and proof-texts, and their genealogies–

But what does Scripture say?

Remain in Ephesus that you may charge some that they teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. (I Tim. 1:3-4)

But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned. (Titus 3:9-11)

Is there anything more “divisive” to the Body of Christ than genealogies which supposedly prove one race is favored over another?

Peter taught this concerning race and nationality:

Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. (Acts 10:34-35)

Paul taught this concerning race:

He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth…(Acts 17:26)

What then? Are we [Jews] better than they [Greeks]? Not at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin. (Rom. 3:9)

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. (Rom. 10:12)

For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into one Spirit. (I Cor. 12:13)

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Gal. 3:28)

Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. (Col. 3:11)

The Lord is building His Church, and according to Scripture, that Church is the true “Commonwealth of Israel”–a Body which includes people from all earthly races and nations. Entrance into this Commonwealth is through Jesus Himself–

Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands—that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. (Eph. 2:11-18)

John saw the Body of Christ in heaven, and this is what it looked like:

I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Rev. 7:9-10)

The Body of Christ/Kingdom of God is spiritual. The carnal man cannot see it or appreciate it, for he insists upon carnal divisions and carnal ambitions. This includes not only the white and black supremacists, but also the Jewish supremacists and their supporters (many of whom claim to be Christians). All are fruits of the same diabolical tree of religious racism and nationalism. A truly spiritual man gives no heed to endless genealogies (which mean nothing, for God is able to raise up children to Abraham from stones! Matt. 3:8-10), but instead regards others through spiritual eyes. Men are either in the Body of Christ (Commonwealth of Israel) or in the world (spiritually, Egypt). Our duty is to be the witnesses God has commanded us to be, so that others from all earthly nations can join us in the Body of Christ. Even Christ Himself is not to be regarded any longer”according to the flesh”–His race while He was in the flesh is unimportant. What is important is who He is (God), and what He has done for all of mankind (provided redemption through His own body and blood).

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Cor. 16-17)

Are you truly a new creation in Christ? If so, old things you once had pride in (or shame in) have passed away. You are not an earthly Jew, an earthly Arab, an earthly white, or an earthly black. You are not a dominating race that must fight for control, and you are not a subjugated race that must fight for freedom. You are not the past history of your ethnic family; its ambitions–for you–have been crucified forever. You are not an earthly slave and you are not an earthly free man–yet you are both the slave of Jesus, and His free man (I Cor. 7:22). You are a part of the “One New Man” Christ has created, and His love for the whole lost world has been shed abroad in your heart. You forgive as you have been forgiven, and you keep no record of wrongs. Like Paul, you are now a debtor to every nation, to the wise and the unwise (Rom. 1:14).

Racism in every form is of the devil. Nationalism and patriotism are sisters of this false religion. Nail these three evils to the cross, dear reader. Our allegiance must be to none other than Jesus Christ–the God who created all men from one blood–and His heavenly Kingdom. Everything down here is destined to burn.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. (2 Pet. 3:10)
